Västtrafik Buss on Demand Västra Götaland Region

The public authority has set itself the goal of improving residents' transport behavior. The current fixed bus network does not cover remote areas of the city, meaning that residents are dependent on the use of private cars. To fill this gap, a Demand-Responsive Transport system has been set up to serve even the most remote areas.

The DRT solution is designed for all user groups and links the key areas of Ulricehamn. The overall aim is to encourage a modal shift from private car use to public transport.

The system has been developed to meet the needs of users in hard-to-reach areas, while offering a flexible transport solution. It helps to improve mobility in isolated areas, and enables local residents to turn to public transport rather than relying on their private vehicles.
