"Thanks to on-demand transport services (DRT and Paratransit), new ways of managing and guaranteeing access to a more inclusive and sustainable mobility can be put in place. Means that allow a gradual transition to low-carbon travel, reduce the impact of the private car, improve access to employment and service areas."

Hürth is a medium-sized city of about 60,000 inhabitants in western Germany.

In order to provide the local population with a flexible and easy way to quickly reach the main transportation hubs, Padam Mobility has been commissioned to implement a dynamic Demand-Responsive Transport service.

The service serves the main nodes in Hürth, such as the central bus station. It also covers the districts of Sielsdorf, Stotzheim and Knapsack.

The Hüpper service can be booked in advance via the app or by phone by calling the call centre. Last-minute ride requests are also possible, with a maximum waiting time of 30 min.

The Hüpper fleet is 100% electric and thus contributes to the reduction of fine-particle pollution.
