Go2Gate at Heathrow

Go2Gate at Heathrow

"We are delighted to be launching this new experimental service in partnership with Thames Valley Buses and the UK's largest airport, Heathrow. We believe this new on-demand service is an attractive proposition for workers and holidaymakers who want to get to the airport without the need for a private car. The trial of an innovative new service for the people of Dedworth reinforces our belief that we can encourage modal shift and offer more sustainable ways of getting to the airport".

The service is part of the airport's sustainable travel zone introduced in 2021, aimed at reducing the number of cars and cabs. The Padam Mobility solution enables book requests to be made up to 28 days in advance. The system also dynamically selects the optimalitinerary in real time, ensuring that each passenger reaches the desired destination as quickly and directly as possible. Last-minute requests are accommodated, although the pick-up or Dedworth drop-off locations may vary slightly to maintain ride times for all users.

Operating from 3:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every day of the week, Go2Gate has established itself as a reliable transport service. This service can therefore become an innovative alternative to fixed routes.
