Our last MaaS event in the USA has now come to a successful conclusion, and we can look back on an inspiring and horizon-expanding series of events. This series, organized by Siemens Mobility, Hacon, eos. (Bytemark), Padam Mobility, and Sqills, brought together a wide range of experts and stakeholders in multimodal mobility from around the world.
The series of events spanned several countries, including Germany, France, the UK, and the USA. Each event, while carrying a different name, focused specifically on the unique needs of the host country. This was essential, as each region has its own regulations, stages of development, and specific needs that must be taken into account. This approach ensures an optimized exchange where all concerns and challenges are addressed, allowing for a holistic approach to MaaS (Mobility as a Service).
The series featured a variety of keynotes from key industry thought leaders who shared valuable insights and visions for the future of MaaS. Panel discussions brought together representatives from various stakeholder groups to discuss the challenges and opportunities of multimodal mobility. These discussions provided a platform for an intensive exchange of ideas and experiences, helping to develop innovative solutions.
Workshops were also an integral part of each event. These interactive sessions offered participants the opportunity to get actively involved and develop concrete applications and strategies for implementing various MaaS topics. Through practical work in the workshops, participants were able to gain valuable experience and try out new approaches directly.
Key Takeaways from These Events:
The diverse perspectives and experiences of the participants contributed to a more comprehensive understanding of the requirements and possibilities of MaaS.
The success of the event series would not have been possible without the active support of our dedicated event team. Svenja Meier (eos.uptrade) and Claudia Staudt (Hacon) managed the logistics, concept development, invitation management, speaker support, and many other aspects. A big thank you also goes to Claudia Inafuko (Siemens Netherlands), who developed the workshop concepts for these events.
