In Bristol (UK), Padam Mobility experimented with RATPDev the Slide Demand-Responsive Transport service. Based on an application, the service allowed users to book a ride to and from work during peak hours.

Launched as a pilot project in 2016, the Slide service recorded over 40,000 rides in one of the UK’s most congested cities. The service experimentation ended in November 2018.

Bristol Slide

Slide Bristol was the first Demand-Responsive Transport service to be launched in the UK, and we are proud to work with the local community to provide this service to users. Slide was extremely popular, covering over 210,000 kilometres over a two year period and achieving an average rating of 4.9 out of 5 for its drivers and service.
