TAD IDFM, Demand-Responsive Transport service in the Paris region

In order to remain as close as possible to the mobility needs of the people of the Paris region and to adapt to the diversity of the region’s territories, Île-de-France Mobilités (Paris region Public Transport Authority) has undertaken the development of Demand-Responsive Transport (DRT) in the outer suburbs. This mobility solution has been deemed ideal for providing tailor-made solutions for people living in less densely populated areas, complementing regular modes such as bus or train.

Due to the size of its territory (12,000 km2) and the multitude of use cases to be addressed, Île-de-France Mobilités has entrusted Padam Mobility, Setec and Webhelp with the implementation of a single management and booking platform of DRT services under the TAD IDFM brand. The aim is to integrate all the region’s use cases and potential operators.

The creation of this new public Demand-Responsive Transport service provides an almost tailor-made response, with a guarantee of the same quality of service, for many inhabitants of the inner suburbs who have no or little access to mobility.
